As there is no TPM, you’ll need Rufus installer. However, as Windows 10 already runs a bit sluggish on my MBP 8,1, I guess it’ll be limit for Win11. My opinion, obviously!Hello all. I have a MBP late 2011 (MacBookPro8,3) and now running Linux Mint. Had Mint because I could not get Win 11 working well on it. Has anyone come up with a solution to clean/native install Win 11 on this vintage of MBP? Not interested to run any version of macos, just want Win 11.

Obtain Parallels Desktop, and run it within Mojave or earlier MacOS. Install Windows 11 Atlas 23H in a 3gbRam VM, then use Massgraves to activate. (You can also do the same with Mint to have all three under the hood.)Hello all. I have a MBP late 2011 (MacBookPro8,3) and now running Linux Mint. My aim is to only have Win11 natively, without any other OS. I could install Win 11 with RUFUS no problems but not everything works properly like sound. There are one or two others can't remember, maybe display and BT.Obtain Parallels Desktop, and run it within Mojave or earlier MacOS. W11Atlas runs leaner inside MacOS than the full load of "native" MS bloatware will run stand-alone. (And High Sierra or Mojave running from an APFS file-system will play nice with SSD wear-leveling, while Windows NTFS will not.)My aim is to only have Win11 natively, without any other OS. That is a great idea. However I admit that I am no good with any OS outside of Windows. I have no issues with any non-Win OSs, just that I never found the chance to use and appreciate them. Windows is the devil I know. Certainly Apple stuff is made better than others. My 3 year old high-spec Dell Latitude does not look at good as my 2011 MBP or feel as premium.W11Atlas runs leaner inside MacOS than the full load of "native" MS bloatware will run stand-alone. Look up Windows Atlas (it's like Tiny 11 that can be applied retroactive after every update you decide to get), Massgraves activation, and Parallels Desktop for Mac.That is a great idea. Ditto Apple's new laptops, aside from there being some new color choices. IMO the 2012-15 15.4" MBPs were the high point, given an i7 processor, 16gb ram, and an SSD stock. My 3 year old high-spec Dell Latitude does not look at good as my 2011 MBP or feel as premium.
