I would. But there are no “older” polished titanium watches yet. My statement was made in the context of new aluminum vs an older model Also, I suspect titanium would scratch less easily.
Although titanium do scratch less easily once it does get scratched it’ll be more difficult to remove. Titanium will bent more easily though although for most this won’t be an issue. Can’t do titanium. Not a as material that is appealing for me on a watch.

Ceramic or stainless steel are the best ways to go.
