What do you feel the iPhone and iOS is outdated compared to the S7 and Android? Being yourself a long time iOS user I find it interesting you now see the iPhone and iOS as way outdated compared to Android.
The hardware and software interactions immediately come to mind. Android automates things much better

An iPhone 6s nowadays versus either a s7 or HTC 10 for the same amount of money? With that screen size, bezel, and resolution just for starters! NOT!

If the 6s didn't have an apple logo on, it would be viewed no better then say a moto x etc, it's the history of yesterday year that still holds it in high regard. When considered on a purely product v product, it's not even in the top 5 anymore. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. It's only the SHAME of buying an android phone that keeps.apple buyers locked in.

I happen to have gone from an iPhone 6S Plus to a Galaxy S7 Edge, but this is complete nonsense. If the next iPhone is interesting, I'll switch back. They are both great phones

I've had the S7 since it was released. And yes, it is an excellent phone, but I'm beginning to notice some niggles.

It annoys me that the screen doesn't light when receiving emails or whats app messages - if the phone is on silent, it's just the discreet flashing of the notification light.

In 'do not disturb' mode, the notification light still flashes. So getting an email at 2am means a beacon flashes in the bedroom.

The alarm clock hasn't sounded a couple of times and I'm not sure why, so I'm back to my bedside alarm clock to be safe. And if you wake before your alarm and don't want it to go off, the only option is to delete the alarm, meaning that night you need to set it up as new.

But most niggly of all - the glass back. I didn't but the iPhone 4/4S because I felt making a phone completely out of glass made no sense. And, sure enough, the back of my S7 has smashed.

So fact!! = your subjective opinion that many others would call vastly generalised nonsense ...

Thanks for clearing that up.
You are welcome.

When naked they feel so fragile, I got a slight gel case for mine, back and very slight on the sides, it makes the world of difference. Very grippy, and there's a slight bounce if u put it on a hard surface.

If you want it to light up just download an app that allows it to.

That is a super easy fix, I just replaced mine. The back was $35 and all it takes it a hair dryer and about 5 minutes
