Anyone know if cancer prevention treatment (strong immunity system and alkaline rich diet) can also be used to treat cancer or is that just not possible once you actually have cancer?

That's him, and I'm pretty sure I know right where that cafe is in Cupertino.

He doesn't look bad bad, but he doesn't look great either. Aging very quickly.

In the end though, beyond disclosing his general condition, he has a right to privacy. Apple will go on just fine without him.

(Likely this thread is about to get booted elsewhere or closed...)

thanks for posting, very interesting, unfortunately he is not doing well, but it is a natural cycle in life for all of us, may god bless him

How sad that even getting cancer treatment, celebrities cannot be left alone.

I think there is some value in knowing his condition as a shareholder... If Apple knows something that could cause my stock price to tank, they need to disclose that. Even just a succession plan would be enough.

However, following someone around and snapping photos of their private life is pretty classless. Knowing where Steve Jobs likes to eat lunch, or when he is getting his treatments doesn't at all relate to my concerns with Apple as a business.

Kind of reminds me of everyone slowing down to see the ambulance at a nearby accident while slowing everyone else down causing unnecessary traffic.

How is watching him walking up to his car and giving him more stress helping a share holder with their investment? Observing him for about 1 minute is going to give important information on his health? I doubt that. Unless he's found dead in his home there is nothing to really see here except a man that's suffering.

I remember all those who said National Enquirer's photos weren't showing Steve.

Now it's confirmed it was him. He looked more frail in those Enquirer photos though.

Hope he gets well soon.

Sigh. It's awful to see him like that.
But, Apple will be fine without him. He just needs to take care of himself now.

This tabloidism bothers me..

I agree. :(
I questioned whether or not I should even post it as it gave me the creeps, but decided in the end that more information is better and that the news will be made available one way or another. I just hope he gets well soon....

Unfortunately, a certain type of investor demands to know now what the outcome of his treatment will be -- as if anyone could predict such a thing. Let the treatment work or not, and give the man his privacy.

Unfortunately it brings back too many memories of my former boss who had liver problems, the treatments left him looking gaunt and affected his balance, let alone his mental state.

Still my boss was able to beat it for over a decade before screw ups at the hospital took away his chances.

Many types of cancers are very curable, some more 50-50 and others with low cure rates. There are just so many kinds and maturities of cancers, and of course where they occur. This has prevented any sort of magic cure-all.

Magic diets, vitamins, teas, honey, incantations...these serve only to provide a living to modern day witch doctors, sorcerers and medicine men. Sorry, not what you probably believe, but if you get a dose you will need to treat it with science, not hope.

Ok, waiting for the Bee People....

Ditto.

Snapping pictures and video of an obviously sick man and then playing it over and over in slow motion is deplorable. He has a family. Can't anyone anymore respect people's privacy during an obviously difficult time?

I hope he gets well, I truly do.

And I hope people stop clicking on this link...all you are doing is giving Radar online and other trash like them license to continue invading people's privacy needlessly.

I'm not going to watch the video out of respect for his privacy.

Its a shame he and his family are subject to such media scrutiny as I personally wouldn't want that kind of media attention.

I still wish the guy all the best and feel the same for all people who are affected by cancer. Such a wicked illness at its worst. I can see why others would be interested but this just isn't for me.

Really don't like the media attention this has been getting. But I wish the very best to him for his recovery. Poor guy :( Not sure how Apple would cope without him, I suppose it has to happen eventually.

Of course he's unsteady. He's probably doped up to the eyeballs on all sorts of medication.

I wish I hadn't clicked on that link though. That site just got a hit count out of me.

Money > dignity.
Money > respect.
Money > all else.
Sickening...
