I’ve been doing the two attached so far. Seems ok, but too soon to say. Safari disable on iCloud and also cleared all website date.

How are you going to backup or save your bookmarks? I’ve done the second one a few times during my trouble shooting.

Just an update to say Amazon smile via Safari isn’t warming the area next to the camera anymore. I have switched back on safari for iCloud as well for a few days.
The only time that area of the iPhone gets warm now is when using Fakebook marketplace.

Mine is still doing its normal (abnormal) thing. I’ve learned to live with it. It is not crippling, but can be annoying.
