This pinned tabs feature got me thinking, if the pinned tabs sync over to iOS, i.e. could I have the pinned tabs (and the features of this) to sync over on my iPhone running iOS 9?

Suppose we'll find out today if no one knows this already :)

Pinned tab will be displayed as opened tab on your safari cloud tab.

However, "pinned" state will not be synced to your iOS 9 devices.

Thanks very much for the help. The pinned state would have been a really useful feature, perhaps in a later update :)

You say you want safari on iOS opens a bunch of tabs upon startup?

I would have just liked the pinned state (from my Mac) to have been synced over when I clicked on its iCloud tab on my iPhone.

For example, say there was a long webpage that I'd been reading on my Mac and I'd only got half way through reading it. I would have liked that when I clicked on the iCloud tab on my iPhone for that particular webpage, that the pinned position (halfway through) would have carried over from my Mac.

Then I think handooff should be a better choice.
