A. I don't think you read anything I wrote or tried it. B. It stopped when I took the time to do all that -- I guess it was just a coincidence. C. You sure are rude and condescending. I doubt you'd be this much of an ass to anyone in person, but so be it. D. I thank you for reminding me how lucky I am to have the parents I did to raise me to never act as you do.

Have a mirror? Use it.

the statement “the things you tried didn’t do anything” may have seemed a bit blunt to a sensitive reader. But doesn’t seem intended as a personal insult.

Warning all, this ad network exploit has popped up again and I believe Double Click is again the compromised agent. I haven't put the time in to verify. As soon as I saw it, I turned on my network filter that blocks DoubleClick traffic. It could be that the culprit is different this time and I just coincidentally didn't get served a redirect ad, but I don't think so.

They're not trying to get you to install a fake Adobe Flash installer this time around, but it's the same kind of browser hijack exploit. I got an offer that purported to be on the behalf of AT&T.

As was the case in past times, this does exploit affects lots of major news sites including news sites outside of the US as many of them use DoubleClick somewhere.

Same here, but since I learned much from the respondents here, I simply went to CNN on Chrome without issue. My browser exploit was allegedly from XFinity.
