I'm right there with ya'. But you have to remember that most of the macs out on the market today have Samsung Components, and they do have higher quality builds than most out there. They lack a decent OS of course.

Kill off the Mac mini? No.
Shrink it down a few tenths of an inch? Yes.
Move it to flash storage as standard? Yes.
