Samsung announces Galaxy S4 Zoom

What a bunch of wimps who think that's a big lens. Check this out...

Seriously though, while bulky, it's nice to see some innovation coming from Samsung. Optical zoom is always better than digital zoom.

Why didn't they simply add phone features to the galaxy camera and keep the internals on that but update it to 4.2.2 ?

Because with 4.3" screen and QHD only it kind of misses the mark for people who want a really fancy camera phone.


The Galaxy camera comes with 4.7" 720p screen and quad core processor - which seems so much better than the zoom, and all they needed to do was add phone to it (there already is a 3G version of the galaxy camera)....
