It's your loss. On both points.
Obviously you've got no clue about Samsung in it's role on the world stage.
Just because at the present time Apple Tax has made their numbers top the charts, is in no way indicative of their staying power.
Samsung has depth like Apple can only dream of.
Apples at the top of the non essential gadget business, but for how long?
When the next fad comes along... Or the economy continues to tank, the fanbois are in for a wakeup call bigger than a 6.0 on the San Andreas.
When you have no argument just say "it'll never last!" and hope that in 5-10 years there's no one to check on your brilliant prognostication.
Lazy.
The reality is that even in a recession, consumers can't get enough of "non-esential gadgets." it's an insatiable need. In fact, Apple has posted some of their biggest numbers in the past during a recession (for Mac sales especially), while the rest of the industry was taking a dive.
And if economic disaster is truly upon us, Nostradamus, then *everyone* is screwed, not just Apple. And the implications are potentially more serious than just economic considerations. In the end the roaches win.
