Care to elaborate? The vibration on the A71 is not that great, definitely, but I do get vibrations when I press Home or back.My touch interaction vibration STILL doesn't work after the Android 11/One UI 3.1 update

Just tried it on my A71, and notification for whatsapp works fine. Try making sure that it's not on silent or DND mode, and check the notification setting in whatsapp to see if notification is properly set with ringtone. No one else has the same problem as me with WhatsApp notifications?
It happened just now again.
I had the phone in my hand with the screen turned off and my gf sent a WhatsApp to me and the phone did vibrate but there was no notification sound.
Doesn't happen always, but from time to time.
Can't be one my phone, since it would be really weird. I know someone else on another forum has the same bug.
Yes, after the one UI 2.5 update, touch interaction vibration stopped working, eg the vibration when you put your pattern in or the small vibration you get when liking something on Facebook, checked all the settings and it's all correct, yet the vibration on my keyboard, phone dialer and back button has worked fine throughout. This happened before but was resolved with a previous update but it's now remained broken through two major updates.Care to elaborate? I'm using this phone for about a year now. The performance was really nice for few months. Now I'm facing a slow down in it's performance. So I'm thinking to sell it. When I bought this phone, the price was around 1750 SR. But now the Samsung Galaxy A71 Price in KSA is just 1300 SR .
There is a considerable price drop for this model.
With the A72 out, it is expected for older models to drop in price. I mean what would you expect? Ask yourself if you wanted to buy for an A71 at full launch price today.I'm using this phone for about a year now. The performance was really nice for few months. Hi, bit of a strange question...
I have had 2 A71's now. The first I had for roughly 6 months up until just before OneUI 3.1 came out. Performance was mostly fine for most of the 6 months, but the last few weeks saw the animations slowing down and especially gesture navigations were very stuttery. I decided to jump ship and got an iPhone (big mistake...)
Since then, I have purchased a 2nd hand A71, which arrived with the 3.1 update. Unfortunately I sold this within 2 days of it arriving because it was unbelievably laggy, I was really disappointed, because I missed the screen of the A71 and OneUi in general...
This brings me to my question. If I purchase another A71, am I likely to face the same issue? The general consensus I've seen on this forum is that 3.1 should've improved the performance, not reduced. It does seem odd that a phone that has relatively decent specs was so poor suddenly.
I'm also considering an A52 5G, which I can get new for £275ish on eBay, but I'd rather spend less and get a second hand A71, if the performance won't be bad.
To note, I am using a Pixel 4a currently that I bought brand new for £225 a week ago which has excellent performance and battery life, but I do miss OneUI.
The only thing I can think is the phone may have been 'settling in' (if that's even a thing) still, I had downloaded my apps and logged into most of my apps already.
Thanks for any help!
From my observation, if you just rebooted the phone, it will definitely feel sluggish as the OS is loading and other things like widgets and start up apps. Buy day to day, I don’t feel the A71 being sluggish at all. And OneUI 3.1 helped it even better.Hi, bit of a strange question...

Yeah I've done the developer mode thing. One of the first things I'll do on any android phone. From my observation, if you just rebooted the phone, it will definitely feel sluggish as the OS is loading and other things like widgets and start up apps. One thing you can try is enable developer mode and set all animations to 0.5x. This will make the phone much more responsive by speeding up the transitions and animations.
The A52 is a huge improvement over the A51. But performance wise it should be on par with the A71, as the SD720G is practically the same chip as the SD730G. You just have to decide if you want smaller phone with IP rating, or a larger phone.
