It looks quite stupid. Not going to argue that. But if the cameras are great then I couldn’t care less.
If accurate, those round edges are a deal breaker for me. I like my Note 10, but this will be my last phone with this type of edge.

S22 Ultra is borrowing Note's shape in order to house the s pen and other reason. So Samsung is hitting 3 birds with one stone. Its almost confirmed 99% the S and Note variants will merge which is inevitable.
After using the s21 ultra with the silicone Case with S pen it wasn’t a nice experience. Far too bulky.
So if they do add the S pen in the phone that would be huge and make things very tempting though to pick one up.

This has every chance of being the best phone available at launch...and I couldnt care less about it. Not sure if its just because I've been on a Samsung for the last two years or because its boring compared to what they're doing with their foldables, but this phone just doesnt interest me this year.
I won't touch the foldable unless they make it very very very sleek when its folded. Its very annoying to carry around.
They’ve got to work out the issue with dust resistance on foldables.
Agreed, i love the S21 Ultra, but i hope that the S22 Ultra has the SPen inside and has that boxy design. I Just hope they offer great trade in for the S21 Ultra, i will then trade mine in and get the S22 Ultra IF the SPen is housed and it has more Note like design.
Agreed the note design has got to have been the best from Samsung.
I’m too in love with the current S21 Ultra design. I currently have mine in the folio case with the S Pen. It’s so easy to put in my purse and the folio keeps it protected. But when I don’t think I’ll need the S pen, it goes into a slim case and is so comfortable to hold. The s21 Ultra design is to me, the ultimate refinement in ergonomics that I’ve been waiting for in a large screen device.
I’m not upgrading to this, not even for the cameras. Though there was a time this is exactly what I would have wanted for a device compatible with the S Pen, because it’s a nice expansive flat tablet.
I can’t afford the Pixels this year. Not without trading in the S21 Ultra. Not unless they inflate the trade in value of my Pixel 3XL, which I don’t believe Google would do. The Pixel 6 Pro is also my ideal for ergonomic design, but I don’t know if I want to surrender s-pen compatibility. The cameras would have to be exquisite.

I’m so hoping all the rumours are true. Ice universe has said the S22, will have a boxy like design with the SPen slot. Basically it will be a Note but with the S22 name. If this turns out to be true, I will trade in my S21 Ultra with Samsung and get the S22 Ultra.
I am really hoping it has a flat screen. I like to use a screen protector and don't like one on the curved edge screens of my various Notes. This year I am using 13 PM and Flip 3 and loving the flat screens. I really miss my S Pen though. Hoping for a flat screen, integrated S pen, and button fingerprint sensor and I'm sold. The power button fingerprint sensor on Flip 3 is the fastest, most reliable form of ID I've ever used on any phone and I wish Apple incorporated it on their flagships. Face ID is unreliable in the dark and not useful in public with masks.
I do like the design of my S21 Ultra, it’s a really good looking phone and dare i say, it looks better than the iPhone 13. I just really loved the boxy design of the Note, along with the S-Pen slot, which I think works better with the boxy design.
I love the back of the s21 ultra. Shame to see it changing..
That said maybe it’s due to make room for s pen slot.
