Why? Do you expect a phone to remain unchanged a year later?Messed up for the folks with 21 ultra and spen case.
Always sucks to be the experiment until they finished product comes out.
I just want to pull those rounded edges into a dark alley and strangle them.

Samsung, can you just not? It’s not 2016 anymore.

And if they had no s pen support on the S21, we'd have people moaning about it. Nobody was forced to buy a case. Why?
Because it was a dumb idea to sell some stupid case and spend separately.
It made no sense, to begin with just wait till the S22 ultra, they should have passed on that idiotic idea.
Trust me it will look a lot better than s21U with its sharp corners, newly designed cameras at the back and better built quality. I am bit surprised Samsung didn't give it a new name like Special Edition or SN Ultra.....S21 ultra back looks better

Oh and if you look look the difference below Samsung removed the camera bump on S22 Ultra. I think most Samsung fans will love that. S21U looks amazing but will be beaten by s22U.
What I find ironic about this whole situation.. Samsung is pushing hard for Note20U trade ins to Fold 3. Then to later release this S22U that has the same traits (silo for Spen, boxy design) of the Note. Because true Note fans are more interested in the traits regardless of the features that come with the Fold3. Especially given theres no silo for the Fold3.Cool stuff. Really good to see the revival of the Note into the S22 Ultra. Less fragmentation on the flagships considering there are the Z foldables now. Note fans will rejoice, and it put backs the Note into its original positioning, the largest and more expensive/premium flagship.
There’s nothing wrong with Samsung’s effort. Some Note users might be looking for the larger canvas that’s still pocketable. The Fold3 will meet some Note users needs. Those who were not interested would’ve stick with the Note 20, and now that’s who Samsung is after. Win win. What I find ironic about this whole situation.. I completely agree with this, i have no interest in a foldable phone at the moment. I brought the S21 Ultra and i love it, i brought the S-Pen separate and the only thing that i wanted Samsung too do was put the S-Pen inside the phone. The Note 20 was a really nice phone and it was always the device that drew me too Samsung, however with battery life issues i ended up sending mine back. The S21 Ultra has much better battery life and i can‘t fault it. Too see that Samsung are bringing back the Note with it’s curved screen, boxy design and the S-Pen inside, I’m thrilled about it.There’s nothing wrong with Samsung’s effort. I did see a rumour that the bezels will be thinner, I’m not sure how credible that rumour is tho. I like the curved screen, i think it looks good and with the edge panel i find swiping a little better. I think i’m in the minority tho as i’ve seen a lot of people say they don’t like the curved screen.Same here , my only complaint is i wish if it was flat with with 6.9 or 7 screen.
