Those colors look great! I am slowly getting excited for this phone. I would gladly trade in my s21 Ultra for this.
Red looks amazing but you will get sick of it after 6 or 12 months so for me either Black or White
For a lot of us here, we get sick of a phone after 6 or 12 months regardless of colour ?
If i chose the right colour i never get sick of my phone. Colour is very important for me because i never put any cases.

Yep, should be great. The S21 Ultra was very close to the perfect slab phone imo. As long as you are ok with One UI (which I personally think it great now) then that phone had no weak points. If they take that, add in the spen, and improve the cameras a little more, it should stay on top of the throne for another year.
This is probably the year I switch back to Samsung. Also, after hearing Apple is going to be moving all of their manufacturing out of Taiwan to China in their never ending quest to appease the CCP, it’s even more of a reason for me to switch, since Sammy has pulled all of their manufacturing OUT of China. They’ve lost most of their market share in China and couldn’t care less and I’m all for that attitude. These phones look gorgeous. My last phone was the Note 10 and I miss that thing a lot.

I haven't really been interested in the Galaxy Buds... what am I missing? I don't like how Bixby is integrated with it or unless I'm missing somewhere in settings that allows for Google assistant. I have some JBL buds that has Google integration...
I have the Fold 3 but the S22 Ultra in Mystic Bronze looks great!! I do kinda miss the S pen being inside the phone. The S22+ and regular look great too with the glass backs. Really similar look to the iPhones. If only Samsung made more blue phones for everyone at launch instead of special editions.
Yeah you can use Google assistant instead of bixby.
Buds live is the last Samsung buds I have from when I got the note 20 ultra. I’m Expecting new buds to be free with the phone
It’s the first time ever that I’m actually looking forward to a Samsung event. The S22 Ultra has my name on it, as long as it has the same battery life as the S21 Ultra with the Exynos, I’ll be happy. Love that it will be a Note in all but name.
Does anyone know how it works with pre-orders and trade in? Will I be able to trade in my S21 Ultra at the time of pre-ordering the S22 Ultra? Do they send a box and collect it via DPD or something, similar to when returning a device?

A Korean outlet has claimed that the Galaxy S22 series will launch on February 8, while also dishing out pre-order and sales dates.
From everything I have seen, the S22 Ultra is looking to be a great device. I’m not sure how Exynos will perform for us in the U.K. I just wish Samsung would give us the Snapdragon and be done with it.
The S22 Ultra is looking to be a Note in all but name, I think that’s a very good move by Samsung. Definitely a buy for me at this point.
I do wonder what pre-order bonus will be given, will Samsung announce new buds alongside the S22 range? Surely there won’t just be the phones. It’s going to be an interesting event for sure, for the first time I’m excited for a Samsung device!!!

I am curious how much excitement the S22 is causing existing users, especially 21 users? I am coming from S9+ and did enjoy it (the internal storage is whats making me upgrade).
For me I’m excited, I currently own the S21 Ultra. I’m also an iPhone user, but that’s being used less and less lately. I’m simply excited because I wanted another Note!
Not much. The S21 is good enough for me, and nothing from the S22 series would entice me for an upgrade. Besides, the focus will be on the S22 Ultra anyway, so this means the plain S22 and S22+ will be sidelined with less features (and probably the same exact cameras as the S21 series). There are already rumors that the S22+ will get a plastic back, and the plain S22 will lose telephoto lens. Samsung will want the focus to be on the Ultra, the successor of the Note.
Note fans will definitely be happy.
You are probably right. I have my S21 Ultra to trade in towards the S22 Ultra, i hope it's a smooth process. From what I've seen, there trade in offers can be hit and miss in terms of how much they give. If it's low, i will sell it or pass it on to a family or friend.
Do Pre-orders tend to open the same day as they do everywhere else, or do Samsung stagger it?
EDIT - I just looked at the trade in for the Fold and they are giving up to £520 trade in, so I'm guessing it will be around the same for the S22 Ultra.

Yeah normally similar time. Think pre orders often start after the event. Could be wrong though
S22 ultra will be an instant pre order for me. Mainly for S pen and the note design
