@Harthag yep, for Apple CarPlay Bluetooth initials the CarPlay connection. Afterwards, the connection is switched to Wi-Fi - Bt doesn’t have enough bandwidth to provide such features. Imagine BT Streaming, Video Rendering of Maps (e.g in satellite view).
I'm going to have to load up Carplay again to test between the two platforms ...

Android central just did a podcast on the issues with the ultra, came out today and worth a listen.

Be forewarned that jerry may come off as a hater at times but he says a lot of truth.

The Sky Blue 512gb S22 Ultra I ordered for a birthday present to my girlfriend just showed up! I installed a Mowei tempered glass screen protector and bought the clear Samsung case (with kickstand) so she can use it right away. I have to say the end result is stunning. I'm a iPhone user and always have been but the Ultra is the only other phone I'd consider and I know it will make a wonderful replacement for her Note 9. I'm looking forward to seeing the look on her face when she opens the box but, I'll admit it will be nice to be able to play around with it so I'm looking forward to that also!

Dunno what other people's screen on time is like but I tested the ultra using just my ultra all day. This was on WiFi only so quite disappointed

Battery has been treating me okay no issues at all with it again I'm home a lot of the days working but the days that I do go out more and use AA it will drain faster nothing a little bump can't take care of

battery on mine was awful for the first 5 days but then I got a notification saying Samsung "optimized" the phone and then battery got better.

My battery is fine, go to work, stream music all day, get home with at least 50% battery left.
To be fair, I'm not on my phone fors hours at a time because I have work to do, but I'm happy and the S22 ultra has been as good as the S21 ultra in my case.

I think the battery tends to go down quicker from 100% than the iPhone, but after a while it tends to stay on the same percentage for a while. The battery isn’t as good as my 13 Pro Max, but considering it can do more, the S-Pen and everything else, I do think the battery life is good and will easily get me through the day.

Most definitely the iPhone stays at 100% for a long time but I think most of us do more stuff with her Android phones anyway so I tend to agree with this.... Nothing a little bit of a bump charge can't take care of I just stopped worrying about battery life long time ago.. it's not like I'm going hiking and away from a charger for extended period of time which in that case there's always a power bank... I will take my Android phone usage over the iPhone most every day of the week..

Imo when actually using android the battery last longer. I was streaming YouTube for 2 hours on 5gams the battery only went down 15%. The iPhone would have been half way gone by that time. IPhone have great standby time though.

Time with the S22+ may be short-lived. Phone calls using Android Auto go over Bluetooth compared to CarPlay which goes through the head unit. Call quality is night and day. Didn’t know this until I used AA often this past week and wondered why calls sounded really bad.
Mine go through AA over the USB cable. My headunit drops the connection over bluetooth when the phone is connected that way. Toyota Highlander here.

Hmm. I have a 2020 RAV4 so likely similar layout. Mine drops the BT connection as well when the phone is connected, but phone calls still go over BT since that's the way AA is set up, from what I've read on it.

Received my T-Mobile USA S22U earlier today. The screen randomly started to glitch , recorded a video to show this.
I’m on the default resolution and have no fingerprint Lock Screen enabled. Nor animated wallpapers. Latest update was installed when I unboxed and setup device earlier today.

We thought this problem is Exynos phones, thanks for the info.
