So can you use it just like any of the cards you have linked to the account?

Yes I believe so.

The card is Chip and PIN.

I can use the card as any other bank debit or credit card and select the account/card to take money out from within the Curve app or just use the preselected default account/card.

I can also change the used account/card retroactively.. which is a good failsafe.

This might be a stupid question but when you use it via curve does your own debit card get charged? Or does it. Come off the curve one and you have to pay it back off that card?

When I used my Halifax Clarity it charged my Halifax card.

The charges show on both Curve and Halifax but take a couple of days longer to process.

I am guessing the delay is due to the ability to switch the charge to another account by Curve.

I would guess debit cards will be similar.

Same for me. I got an email receipt from curve within minutes of using samsung pay on sunday. The payment showed in my bank the same day but had CRV ahead of the place I used the card. I'm assuming to signify Curve

Do you get a new PIN number with the physical card? I assume you would need to

I chose the PIN I wanted when I placed the order for the physical card. Once card is received and activated, there is a PIN option on the Curve app.

Am I missing something. This is just a Curve card (I’ve had one for years) but with a Samsung logo on it.

Don’t get me wrong, Curve is great especially for those who used the wrong card to pay for something (say company expenses) and you can switch the transaction afterwards to a different card.

But be aware; this is actually a German based commercial card (as they offer that feature) and set for a GBP account. As such some payment systems do not accept these cards either.

I do like curve. I do use it. Also use Revolut which is brilliant for multi currency. And traditional banks.

The part I’m still missing is what has Samsung to do with this other than adding their logo?
