iPhone Save your 6.1 shsh blobs now!

How should i go about this

Im on ios 6.0.2 on my ipad 2 its not jailbroken , how would i go about updating to ios 6.1 ?

Also , if i upgrade i wont be able to come back down to 6.0.2 Correct ?

I also wanted to get an ipod touch 5g this month should i get it now before apple updates them to ios 6.1 or will they leave them on ios 6.0.2?

You want to be on 6.1 to JB.
Not 6.0.2, that version will not be jailbreakable most likelly.
If you update your ipad you wont be able to go to 6.0.2 but why would you want to.
If you want to get an ipod touch get it fast and update it to 6.1 quick while its still out.
Once that window is closed you wont be able to get it to 6.1 in order to JB.
Unless it comes with 6.1 preinstalled then you will be ok but only best bet would be to buy it while 6.1 is still released and update it to that in order to JB.

You will need just the GSM.
Not the GSM+CDMA. Those are for sprint and verizon iphones.

Weird.
Make sure you have the latest itunes version.
And Your hosts point to apples activation servers.
If still nothing update it on another computer. Something might be blocking your communication port to Apples servers on your computer.

Apple already closed the signing window for 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 for every device but IPT 5

Also, newest TinyUmbrella won't save iPhone 4 SHSH for 6.1 or iPad 4 SHSH

Really strange indeed. I'm reinstalling iTunes and next move will be to unblock the firewall.

Can't save SHSH for 6.02 anymore, window is already closed.
No you don't have to be on 6.1 to save your SHSH for 6.1
You can either use redsn0w 09.15B3 or TinyUmbrella 6.1.00

I'm getting a MacBook Pro as soon as I got the money for it. :)


iTunes behaves messy. It's having problems detecting the phone itself. Still fails after reinstallation.


What should I do? turning off firewall won't solve it either.

lol I just came to say this. >__< That was fast, and goes to show I should have gotten the SHSH for my device before my mom's and sisters iPhone 5. *grumbles*
 
Reds0w won't save 6.1 or 6.0.2 on Mac or pc. Pc it saves but when I query it, 6.1 doesnt show up. And on Mac, it freezes with a beachball untill I force quit it...
