gkarris - but doesn't AppleTV do the sync thing pretty flawlessly? My goal is to grab files off the network without alot of jumping thru hoops. And, won't appleTV do the appropriate resolution out of the box? I have a hard time viewing text, etc. on my 56" TV screen right now and it never fits right.. IDK.
Ideally, I'd love to have an AppleTV with Leopard in it. Mini is double the price.

I'd love the easy peasy YouTube on the mini too.

Lack of Wireless N is 'really' bothering me though. I only hope it's hidden in there like the iMacs were. I would think so?

I just got an :apple:TV used complete in box a few weeks ago (I'm a collector so want the box). I think it's great, but has a few flaws. It does sync flawlessly, but I stream everything. The only flaw is that it gets really hot and doesn't have an "off" switch. The "off" can be fixed in the next system update though.

Who knows what the future iTunes will have in it - maybe it will be able to look at other devices on the network and sync with them. I would imagine so with the Minis and :apple:TV's being used in media centers.

Get an :apple:TV where you would be able to exchange/return it to try it...

Or get a refurbed Mini - the prices for them right now is awesome!
