Hello. Can somebody help me. I have mbp pro late 13... Installed beta 3 and my screen brightness adjustment is broken. When I try to adjust brightness nothing happens... only visual changes in brightness controller
Nope.. same result..Any luck if you try to do it from System Preferences under Display?

Nope. Yesterday I spoke with Apple Support. They recommend me fresh install. That's all Today I created a back up and after work try to fresh install. I reply here if this helped me.I was wondering if you found a fix for this. I just updated to 10.12.4 (final) and I got the same issue...

can you please share your AppleBacklightExpert.kext from `/System/Library/Extensions/`I send all info to apple engineer. Hope this help.

ps, but as I understood you're trying to solve keyboard brightness, but we're talking about screenHey @Kaardan, @idoo, if you hop over to macOS 10.12 Sierra Unsupported Macs Thread and check this post -- we're trying to solve the same issue. Since you have Ambient Light Sensors, you could try this. I have a very old Macbook, so I'm stuck with using http://bergdesign.com/brightness/ or going back to 10.12.3.
