Screen dimming when unplugged

Hi,

I'm on Monterery 12.4 MacBook Pro M1. Whenever I unplug the cord the screen dims quite a lot, but under 'system, displays' I have automatically adjust brightness turned off and under battery I have 'slightly dim the display while on battery power' turned off. Anyone know why it's still auto dimming? Cheers.

One more thing to try; check under ‘Battery’ in System Preferences that Low power mode isn’t checked when on battery power.
