i currently have one on my 3GS but i've noticed an issue when i wear polarized sunglasses, the mix of the oleophobic coating and the screen protector produces a rainbow effect... it's pretty annoying so i'm thinking of taking it off
I put an invisibleSHIELD on each of our iPhone 3GS units. After 24 hours the cover "cures" and there are no bubbles, etc. Looks great!
Also, I got PixelSkin silicone cases for protection. Looks like the day I purchased them...![]()
This happens with any LCD screen and polarized glasses. Its actually much more noticeable on monochrome LCDs (like my work radio)
I haven't used a screen protector ever on any phone. My phones get beat up too much so I stopped caring.

If i have any smudges i just wipe it against my shirt and all the smudges are gone. No breathing on the thing to get it moist then wipe etc.
It wears off!? Thats kind of the reason i removed my screen protector. Cause the screen feels soooo good with the coating on there.Nothing here, I don't plan to until my oleophobic (sp?) coating wears off.
While I don't have a screen protector, I do have a case which covers the display (it's a Vaja ivolution Top SP).To those folks that said yes, how exactly do you handle your iphone? do you place it with keys in your pockets?
