Screen recording!

Been flawless for me so far. How long are your screen recording sessions? Can you try just a few seconds then stop to see if that saves? The longer the session, the longer before the recording saved dialog shows up.

I have tried 2, 5, 10, 30 and 60 seconds. Nothing.

I'm not going to reset everything, because it takes so much effort to get it back the way I like it. I'm just going to wait for the next beta or even final version before I reset anything.

I can think this will be a very popular tool for everyone from someone who is helping grandma or grandpa navigate their new gadget, to the store "genius" who wants to give you a short video of a procedure that he just showed you. Since it now has audio it make it even better.

i have found out that you have to turn the audio on each time you use it. Off seems to be the default.

It is working correctly for me (iPad Pro 9.7”).

What exactly do you mean when you say it no longer records correctly?

Just a single image of what I’m recording shows for the whole recording. Try it recording game play .... this is when I have the issue.

I just tried screen recording a few games and whilst it did record for me (iPad Pro 9.7”), I did encounter a bug. When screen recording a game it shrinks and distorts the screen recording and switches between landscape and portrait even with the iPad is locked to landscape mode.

I just wish that bar would disappear. I don't want my videos to have this big ugly bar saying it's recording. Defeats the purpose.

Recording does, audio doesn’t.

Screen recording is working fine for me with the latest beta. The issue with game footage and screen orientation was also fixed for me in the previous beta so this should be working fine now.

I’m on iPad Pro 12.9 and it still is not working correctly since beta 4

I only have iOS 11 beta on my mini 4, I'm not running it on either of my Pros unfortunately. It has been rock solid for me on the mini 4 though these past two betas, always records fine and no performance issues in the footage that I can see.

Screen recording (games) is working for me on iPad Pro 9.7”. In the previous beta it recorded for me but the video was distorted out of shape - not having this issue anymore.
