Screen Time not ready for Prime Time

It's a new feature. It will be buggy. Now, yes, I know it is in the final build and out to the public but overtime it should get better. But I do agree it is fairly buggy for it's release.

Agreed, if they were to delay this plus group FaceTime the only really new feature would be Siri Shortcuts.

Right now I got to go in and adjust their shut off times manually each weekend. They get mad when I forget. :D

Someone high up in Apple told me it would be fixed in 12.1

Device names still messed up but I believe I can at least access accurate data for both my sons' devices from my iPhone
 
Yes me too majority of the time combined screentime data is accurate across both devices but sometimes it doesn’t match. But overall much bigger improvement

Got an email back from one of apples team saying it’s still buggy but they’re working on making it perfect

Anyone having problems with screen time in 12.1? It has practicaly stopped working for me.. Charts are empty! Tried turning it off and on but still nothing

Hi no haven’t noticed that it’s still not perfect but it’s showing me my times and matching most times across devices not always but definitely improved maybe do a hard reset or turn it off and bck on. Leave apple feedback on their feedback website about this I will too and hopefully others they will have to make it work if lots of people do
 
Are you noticing that the combined screentime isn’t matching across devices sometimes even with the share across devices tab turned on

Screen time leaves a lot to be desired
While it has its good points it’s not a simplistic
Model of control
Doing a hard reset wipes out data as does other things
Bottom Line it’s going to be something good eventually but right now it’s nothing more than a work in progress
 
yeah its still very buggy like right now I'm seeing a 40 minute gap between devices even though I have the iCloud sync enabled sometimes it will match across both devices but majority of the time it doesn't

It doesn't seem to be working very well. I just checked in on my son because I was thinking he's been on his machines too long and he admitted it doesn't switch off when his time is up.
Also, I checked it and it says he's been on for 22seconds whereas I know he's passed the 1hr20 minutes he's allowed. Something wrong here.

Also, unless I'm mistaken, Safari isn't blocked and so he can go on Youtube any time he likes meaning the whole thing is pretty much useless. That's probably what he's been doing.
 
Screen Time still seems to be a buggy mess at the moment. The latest weirdness for me is that under my devices it shows multiple iPhones - I only have one, and only one shows up under my devices in iCloud, AppleID site etc... but under Screen Time I have multiple iPhones.

And apparently I’m not alone, there’s a big reddit and Apple support forums thread on the same.

Also, when my son requests more time on his device(s) it sometimes takes hours for the request to show up on either mine or my wife’s phone.

Where did u report it when I report something I never get told someone else has reported just get told thanks the team can’t respond but message has been received
