I turned ScreenTime back on after updating my devices to iOS 16.5 and MacOS 13.4. Now nothing syncs at all between devices, not even the settings which is listed as something fixed in 16.5. Basically the devices are behaving as if “share across devices” is off even though it’s on. This is actually worse than it was previously as at least I could get 2 devices syncing. Now I can’t get any.

I called Apple support. The first person I spoke to said this is normal behavior (which it obviously isn’t). I called back and that person told me I need to sign out of iCloud and back in. Surprise, surprise that didn’t work either.

Saw that iOS 17.1 release notes said it fixed Screen Time syncing. Updated to iOS 17.1 and nope, it’s still broken.

Incredibly this was actually fixed in iOS/iPadOS 17.5 and MacOS 14.5. I can actually see and select all 3 of my devices (iPhone, iPad and Mac) in ScreenTime now.
