If you had the choice of these 2 phones, which one would you pick and why? I feel like when I got my current iPhone 13 pro, it was the latest and greatest thing but I could also use a more basic phone too.

I know the size is quite different but neither size bothers me and I’m not fussed with Face ID vs Touch ID.

I am wondering though, how the camera will be on the SE3. There may be something I haven’t thought of so thought I’d ask here to see what input I can get.

Cheers
I was tryiing to decide between these two phones and ended up ordering a 11. 5G is not big in my area and Im usually home using wi-fi anyway. I also like the larger screen of the 11. Apple's refurbished store has the 11 with 256GB for $549. The same config for the SE is $579

I’m trying to decide wether to replace or not. I feel like I don’t use a lot of the functions the 13 pro offers so would probably be better off with something else. I love the camera on the 13 pro but would also be happy with the 11. Battery life is one of the important factors also
Oh in that case I would absolutely do nothing and just keep the 13 pro.

For me, I like the compactness of the SE2020 (and in-turn the SE2022), and touch ID my preferred form of authentication (Apple pay works more efficiencly with touchID vs faceID IMHO).

The biggest drawback (for me) when I (briefly) used the SE2020 is the battery life.

It'll be interesting to see the battery comparisons of the new SE2022. The inner optimist hopes to see a large improvement in battery life, but the realist in me believes it'll be a minor improvement...

Small screen vs 4g

I have SE2 and iPhone 11. Finally picked up 11 for myself and gave SE2 for my daughter. 11 has much better battery life (which critical for my usage). Am not sure if SE3 can have better battery than 11. Screen size doesn’t really matter for me personally.
If you plan to use camera frequently, and you don’t really need long battery life, then SE3 is better option.

Why so? I believe main camera for ip11 is a bit better, isnt it?

This is a no-brainer. I’d get the SE3 over the brick looking and feeling 11. The 11 is also a dinosaur when it comes to the chip.

With the latest iOS 15 loaded on my wife’s 11, we are already noticing that it lags when maneuvering between screens.

Whoever is on the fence, do this: go pick up the iPhone SE3 and find someone with an iPhone 11. Play with each one back to back. You’ll instantly notice how much smoother and snappier the SE3 is. I guarantee it. The 11 will lag noticeably.

No contest.

iPhone 11 has better camera hardware then SE2 & SE3 which both have essentially the same camera module from iPhone 8.

It will be interesting to see how much the A15 & software tweaking can improve on the A13 powered SE2 camera.

Ip11/se2022 are only iphones currently being sold without pwm, so maybe thats why some people (like me) are choosing between these 2🤷‍♂️
I tend to forget about this, a lot of people have this PWM issue.

The iPhone 11 is still a great phone especially if you don’t want OLED, great battery life, nice sized screen and newish design.

SE 3.

1. Small(ish) and light
2. LCD
3. No stupid Face ID
4. Home button
5. Rounded sides (yay!)
6. Bezels so that it's comfortable to hold
7. Thin
8. 5G
9. Good phone call quality
10. NO NOTCH!
11. Form factor: comfortable to hold
