SE is supposed to be smallish, if you ask me. A Mini form would be great. XR is way too big. It was confusing enough when the 11 was bigger than the 11 Pro. And the XR was bigger than the XS.
I hear moms want big ole phones. My mom likes a small phone. I hope the current SE form factor is put to rest. The design is old. Just make the next Mini the SE.

The only from factor that would bring me back to the SE would be the original 2016 design.

This thread was created in December 5, so I think before the report that the SE4 might be canned. Still interesting to hear other peoples opinions.
