Too bad I can't use this when trying to delete videos, gifs/stickers, and photos from the Storage setting for Messages! Individually tapping them lives on! 🤦🏽‍♂️

yet this đź’© is still not available to select multiple attachments (mainly photos) from Messages to delete them easily. Reason #1 why I may just give up and go back to WhatsApp. iOS 18 was my last "hope" but looks like they still have not implemented it. You literally have to click on each photo manually one by one to select them! like WHY. Even in the Photos app you can at least swipe down to select multiple photos. Talk about inconsistency
Yeah, when going through settings “Review Large Attachments“ you still have to select attachments individually. I wish they would change this.

Judging by the comments here I'm one of a few people that is actually really annoyed by this feature.
I use the full screen Zoom feature a lot and the three-finger gesture to pan the zoom often accidentally selects a bunch of items in a list. It happens in many different apps all throughout the iPhone. Any chance this select gesture can be disabled?

Photos is a little different. Go into Select mode first, then tap a photo with one finger and drag left or right, then up or down. This is sort of done as a single action, don't tap and hold. (Need to do the left/right action first otherwise it will just scroll vertically rather than doing the multi-select.)
Yup. Works for me. Thanks.

I stumbled across this in the past year and was totally surprised....a great feature.

I figured this was something that I missed in one of those "72 surprise features you didn't know about" videos I don't always watch since 85% is stuff I already know from sites like this.
