My goal for September is walk or run at least 4,49 km or 3 miles 14 times.

It’s doable🙂

I have suggested this before and others have said similar things, but I think Apple should have a suggested monthly challenge but also allow you to choose an easier or more difficult one optionally. My challenges have been easy because I had a down month in June due to a foot injury and in July due to travel, so the last two months I have been knocking off the challenges within the first week easily. I assume it will figure out that I need bigger challenges eventually but I have no idea when it will suggest one.

Up until 2 years ago the challenges were much tougher, like close all your rings every day, double your move goal 20-30 times and 5-10% higher every month for calories, minutes etc and there were many complaints about that.
Then 2 years ago it totally toned down, and now there are complaints about that.

Let’s see what next month brings, seems like a new watchOS is the time Apple might introduce changes.

And lastly, you can always challenge yourself by increasing your goals…

I could finally reach 1000 move goals but the day I reached it I did with the phone far away and the phone medals aren’t updated yet.

Another updating problem: I went to run this morning for a long run (2h40’) it was bright and watch wasn’t covered, and today I have on my health profile only 33 minutes of outdoor light. In the afternoon, when the watch was paired.

View attachment 2412046An hour a day, 11 times, isn’t impossible but will be tough. August includes a very active weeklong-lake trip (think 3-hour paddleboard runs) and lots of beach time. September includes a return to work (university prof) with substantially less time to exercise.
Did it! Lots of extra bike rides to work and kid activities.
Feels like a big one for me; I was really skeptical I’d get it. I’ve never managed all 12 in a year, but this kept me on track.
