That’s awesome. It really does feel like a traditional drawing.
Many thanks for your motivational comment, kazmac !

Looking for a different approach to this "less rural subject", I tried to combine a loose style with your idea of a toned background.
Not there yet, but eager to explore further ;-)

love this one, curious to know what size of iPad you are rocking :) definitely the kind of sketch/drawing I like to do, currently looking at 12.9 as I am fairly tall but worry it will be difficult to take out and raw in the street...

Many thanks for your nice comment, ggx12 - glad you like my sketch.
I'm using a 10.5 iPad Pro (to work at home, not outside).
If you want to take the iPad out in the street, you may like to check out Rob Sketcherman's advice.

Two very different styles - both done in Procreate on my iPad Pro 11". One is a Tomb Raider fan art I made to celebrate the franchise turning 25 this year, and then the other is some concept art for a graphic novel I've had swimming around in my head for the last few years. :)

Today I decided to give Procreate another try.
Its Brushes Studio as well as its customizable Pressure Curve sure can make a difference to the Paper app - that I must admit.
I tried to fiddle a bit to get a pencil style that resembles my 3B, and practiced my hatching ;-)

What’s the best iPad app for learning how to draw? Really interested in improving my drawing ability.
