How does one settle on a good home screen? I change mine every so often and then a few weeks pass and I feel like I need to change it again. Maybe I like change for the sake of Change, but I really wish the Widgets were a little more flexable. I'm even considering just having maybe 2 widgets on the home screen and then going all apps.

I rarely change mine. I need it to be aesthetically pleasing but not so busy that I can’t see things easily. I usually do a galaxy photo but I found a Christmas one that works well for me.

Anyone else not able to pick a different photo for the Home Screen and have it actually be blurred on 17.1.1? Mine shows correctly in the preview but once I actually look at it on the Home Screen, it isn’t blurred 😵‍💫

I've gotten into the habit of changing mine with the seasons, and refraining from changing it more often than that LOL.
Right now I've got a cadence of; either Dynamic Weather or a green scenery for Spring. Dynamic Weather for summer. Something warm with fall colors for Autumn, and I'll rotate through a few snow/Xmas backgrounds for Winter.

Is this a theme of sorts? I like the shadows and sort of 3-D effect that has the icons raised instead of flat

It was a shortcut that applied the shadows to a wallpaper based on your home screen setup. Sadly it disappeared from my shortcuts app and the link on the YouTube video is broken.

Have the same case… would appreciate the two backgrounds if you wouldn’t mind posting :)

Here’s the lock screen. I don’t know if I have the original Home Screen wallpaper but I can give you the shadowed version if you want to use the same setup.

Awesome wallpaper.
Pls 2 requests:
- can you share this pics in possible the best quality
- what's the name of the app making this photorealistic screenshots like mockups? I used to have it but nowhere can find in my apps
Thanks in advance

Great photos, everyone!

This is a fairly stripped down version for obvious reasons; but the image is of a 2012 Mac Mini I own, taken during a recent ‘loose screw’ fishing expedition:
