Shared drive I do not recognize

Are you sure it isn't the offline Time Machine backup? The new feature creates a phantom network drive that is supposed to be hidden.

ping the device to get it's ip address
from the terminal prompt type arp -a
take the mac address entry from the ip address and do a search for it here:
http://www.coffer.com/mac_find/
At least that will tell you who makes it!

That worked! I found out that it is my printer! Regardless if the printer is on or off, that drive still shows up. Apple just released an update for the Brother printer, maybe it will fix that.
