Shortcuts -> if charging AFTER 21 pm launch app?

In the new shortcuts app workflows can be launched when charging the phone. Can anyone figure out how to make a workflow only run if I start charging after a given time?

Create an automation that triggers when you plug it in. But the first action should check time. If between 21:00 - X do this otherwise do nothing

I followed that link, as I’d like something like that (with some tweaks), but it didn’t have the “on plug in” part to it. I’ma bit of a noob with automations.

The first action is "adjust date". Tap the first parameter and choose get start of day.

@Ansath You need to setup the automation yourself (you can't share automations) and then either recreate my shortcut inside of it or choose the action "run shortcut" and pick the one I made.

Hey,

Thanks for the great shortcut and I should clarify one thing:

Put the desired action just in between comment and otherwise command. And then you can go to automation and set the automation using this shortcut.

I've created screen recording that explains, hope it helps.

P.S.

I'm wondering is it possible to create location based automation? E.g. If location is home > launch Calm app or if location is office > launch spotify.

Any ideas on how to make the time period be between say, 10pm and 8am? I can't figure out how to use a time period that spans midnight.
