Should 5S users on 8.4.1 update to iOS 9.3?

did you bother to do ANY research yourself, to google and read up ?
Update. Content blockers and Night Shift are two features worth it alone, even if iOS 9.3 happens to be ever so slightly slower.
I also have an iPhone 5s and iPad mini2 both now running iOS9.3. I wanted the iOS9 features and therefore decided to update both to 9.1 and then to 9.2 and now to 9.3. I do think that 9.3. runs smoother then previous iOS9 versions but especially on the iPad mini2 the 8.3/8.4 versions were much more smoother. But i really like the iOS features so I can live with it that it's a bit less smoother then 8.x versions but not annoying as it was with 9.0.
My 5s is 16 months old, and I have proceeded to immediately download each IOS update as they have become available. My experience with 9.3 has been quite positive. I really like the night shift display function, it runs smoother, and my phone accepts a higher charge rate than before. I'm running Coconut battery app on it, and it has 140 cycles on it and I am now able to charge it to 99.6%! Pretty impressive, I think.
No one any device ever running 8.4.1 should upgrade to ANY version of 9. I have an iPhone 6 and not a single update has recaptured the silky smooth experience of 8.4.1. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Most people aren't dealing with those issues and are enjoying what iOS 9 brings for them.
Thanks. I knew they had pulled it, but surprised that the 5s is included. I thought the 64 bit devices were ok. My ipad air certainly works fine with it.
Even many 32-bit devices were OK with it. It's hard to tell which subset of the older devices really got affected or why.
Actually he is right.The SE is just a beefed up 5S.For people on 5S to be forced to upgrade,the 5S needs to be made obsolete
Actually, he is wrong. People would upgrade for the improved performance and guaranteed longer updates. There is no proof that Apple has slowed down the 5S specifically to sell the SE. There is proof, however, that they didn't slow down the device with any malice.
The 5S doesn't have to be made obsolete for the SE to be a better phone.
Take off the brown-tinted glasses every time you look at an Apple product.
I have two 5s on iOS 9.3 and those two phones are running swimmingly; no need to update to an SE for Apple Pay, or a beefed up cpu and other internals, camera, battery life, Live Photos, and what have you.
The 5s is a great phone and runs perfectly well on iOS 9.3.
Why is the SE being discussed in a thread that is about someone wondering about how iOS 9.3 is working out for those with a 5s?
