If you can get one for $50.00 or less, otherwise spend your money on something up to date. I had two Extremes to get coverage for my house. I replaced them with a Linksys
EA9500 and glad I did. The Linksys is more expensive but not as expensive as two Extremes and it gives me whole house coverage, all the latest technology and gigabit speeds using two 5ghz channels and one 2.4ghz channel. So far it has been reliable and worked flawlessly.
