No, sorry! I've never heard of them (I'm from the UK). I got the name from this: 'http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/Combat+Wombat/', and then changed the 'c' to a 'k' to make it more rad, innit?

And btw Lord Zedd, I wouldn't call your name something that reminds me of a civilised debate, more a strange stage name from a really bad metal band.

And back on topic (not that i ever was!):

I'd wait till' after christmas to buy one, as that's when apple would update it buy, if they were going to. Great machines though, if your just using it for browsing the web, m$ office and light media work.
