Yes I know I have the Magic Keyboard that came with the Mac but I was looking for a keyboard that would attach in some way to the iPad. Guess the Logitech one will do at least for the foreseeable future.

At $250, which Best Buy is still offering, I'd say the answer is yes ... pull the trigger; give it a whirl.
My take -- as a previous non-user who's been playing around with the 2017 or 5th Gen for a few days -- it's a hoot.

Agreed. I picked up an iPad 2017 for 249 at Best Buy. I sold my iPad Air 2 last year for my 8+. I’m enjoying having more screen space. I have a cheap amazon case coming Monday. Figure at the very least it’ll extend the life of my 8+. My 8+ seems so tiny now. Reading macrumors is so much more pleasant. Watching a video on this for my business trip will be a huge plus.

That is nice to know.
I purchased the iPad today from an official reseller store. Sadly there’s no physical Apple store here yet.
I’m kinda happy with it but the display feels a tad cheap to be honest (plastic-like and kind of hollow when tapping) and yes the lack of compability with the Apple Pencil is disappointing but I wasn’t going to spend 300 euros more only for it plus 100 for the actual pencil.
Do you guys have any idea if Apple is ever going to release a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPad? There’s one from Logitech on the Apple Store’s website and I guess that’s all there is.

It's funny. I actually kind of like the hollow feeling; it makes me feel like the iPad has more of a rigidity to it that the Air 2 was sorely lacking in. Though, with the Air 2, the display assembly was really too thin (all sorts of problems with screen ripple distortion with even light presses on the screen). I'm honestly really happy with mine. Harkens back to my original iPad Air and even my first generation iPad in ways that I do like. It won't fully replace the iPad mini for me though, sadly. But it does come functionally close enough.

As for the Apple Bluetooth keyboard situation, while none of us here can speak to what Apple will or won't do, I'd say an iPad specific Bluetooth keyboard is extremely unlikely, given that the regular Apple Bluetooth keyboard works fine and given that, for the iPad Pro models, there's smart keyboard support.
