You revived an ancient thread just to scold us for jailbreaking our phones...with bad information that isn't even true? Let me set you straight:
1) Jailbreaking does not put any information about your phone on the Internet.
2) The hack you are talking about takes place over a local network, and requires that you have a specific application (OpenSSH) installed and running on your phone.
3) The only people who are even susceptible to this hack are people who didn't bother to change the root and user account passwords on their phone.
4) You can always put your phone in DFU mode and restore. No hacker can prevent you from doing that, and no genius bar genius will ever be able to tell that you once jailbroke your phone.
5) But then again, you won't have to take your phone to the genius bar, because it will be like new again anyway, and all trace of the evil hacker's former presence will be obliterated.
