cool. they definitely don't advertise that feature - at least not in my area. I've got a feeling they'd tell me to pound sand if I asked for an in home repair, but what the heck? I'll give it a shot next time. worst they can do is tell me no - no biggie- but if they do it that'd be a major convenience

Ya, i was able use the mouse when it happened. The dock was doing its normal thing too. The only problem was, whenever i did change apps (a la genie effect) i'd have more colorful triangles and such, all over the screen. It pops out of nowhere. I'd drag the mouse around and it'll change color or design (haha, design) and sometimes disappear.

Could you use your mouse? If yes, when you went to the dock did things look normal i.e. genie effects, opening other app's...

With it just being in the app. window, I concur that it may be just the app. / Leopard anomaly.

About your signature - you should defenently (how the heck do you spell that word) get a macbook. they're not way too much money and the only bad thing is that they don't burn dvd's.

I think it's just the application because everything else looks fine. Hope it gets fixed soon though. I hate when my mac messes up. Thank goodness it is once in a blue moon.

They do burn DVDs, and mine does do a good job of it too! Only the LOW end Macbook has the ComboDrive.
