In a coffee shop.
I'd say it is the old trade off between portability/mobility on the one hand and power/memory/speed on the other; which is more important to you? If you actually physically move around a lot the lightness of the MBA is a very attractive quality. One aspect which nobody has raised as yet is the screen; the MBP has a terrific screen, while that of the MBA, although excellent, is considerably smaller. Would that be a factor? I'm a recent switcher, and got a MBP in April which I love; at present, it's my main computer and mostly lives on various desks. In time, I'll consider supplementing it with the MBA when yes, more power (and memory) are added.
Cheers and good luck with your purchase.
