If the 2nd screen (ACD - what does this stand for?) was 1.5 inches higher up I think it would look fine. Like attached.

I've "shimmed" mine. It's something like .8 inches off to start with. I had an old textbook that was the perfect sizefor it, without protruding any from the front or sides. Worked like a charm.

Here's mine with an old 19" Samsung (1280x1024).

I bought a used Dell 2407WFP-HC on eBay to replace it (24" 1920x1200) will post a picture when it comes.

I would really appreciate a picture of this setup as I am looking to do the same thing with mine!
Unfortunately I canceled the order for the LowKey Stand as the delivery cost is higher than the product's itself. I guess that's reasonable for something that is sent to Greece from the USA. Anyway, the Dell u2711 is here. Here is some pics:

How well does the Dell U2711 pair with the iMacs? Don't you have to use the miniport adapter? I've read about problems with resolution not being maximized, or is that all just BS from the interWebZ? Is the apple DVI-Mini displayport adapter decent?

THanks

I use a mini dp -> dp adapter since it's much cheaper than the mini dp -> Dual dvi. These are the only two options you have (to my knowledge) if you want to use the dell in max resolution (2560x1440).
