42mm SS Link

Thank you for sharing those very nice pics of a very gorgeous :apple:Watch. Every time I see attractive new pics of the link bracelet, I'm happy I kept canceling my orders and finally ordered the band I really wanted all along, even it means waiting a while.

Enjoying every day with my 42mm SS SB Apple Watch. Definitely the most comfortable, convenient compliment to the iPhone! Just waiting for the Black Sports Band.

I have come to the conclusion that I don't like, much, any bands that need a link to attach to the watch. The "handle" that these bands use to attach to the watch, like the Milanese, a nice band, somehow cheapens the watch.

All watches with a proper "full" attachment to the watch, like the sports band or the stainless steel link bracelet look better.

The gap that the "handle" leaves looks wrong. Bought home by the red third party band, the band looking fine itself, on the page before. That look is wrong, with the handle and the gap.

My opinion of course.

Was going back and forth with the Milanese/Classic Leather combo or the Link Bracelet. After seeing all the beautiful pics on this post I'm going with the Link Bracelet. Just looks clean. Will pick up the Classic Leather Buckle later on though. Thanks and keep posting

Some Watch app photos...

I thought some of you might like to see something other than watch faces for a change, here are some apps including dj, photos, exchange rates, passbook and using the photo app to control the iPhone camera :)

Pics of watch in post 2678.....clean and finished. No gaps. Band meets the watch ... Seemless
Pics of watch in post 2698...... That gap where the link meets the watch. I just don't like how ANY link band has to, in essence hook over a bar that is itself sitting off the watches body.

Look at ANY link band. The band "hooks" over a "bar". As nice as the band may be, the gap between the "bar" the band is wrapping over and the body of the watch, and at the end of the bar itself because the band is not as wide as the "link"... not my cup of tea. Sort of unfinished.

I kind of agree with you. I bought my 38 with the BCB, then bought a black sports band. I like the way the BSB links up to the watch better. And I think the way the linked band is the best overall matchup to the watch case.

See the non-join between the band and watch in this Skagen. It's finished off by a "cover" over the area where the band, a mesh link band, meets the watch. There are no visible gaps, certainly no visible, thin bar that the band hooks over.
The watch and band are one.

The Apple Store at The Domain in Austin had sport bands in stock. Couldn't resist buying the white one. I really like the contrast

Looks great!

It gets scratched easy!!!

Hmm, ok. To me it seems that your paying an extra $200 for the SS just to cover it up with plastic. It's like buying a nice looking car and putting it in bubble wrap. For some reason it bothers me but of course you can do whatever you like. I guess you can uncover it for special occasions.

And you can get the stainless steel polished at an jewelery for 10$.
Or polish it yourself. At least the screen will not scratch.
