Really better than Apple Ocean band!!!

I looked in your earlier posts but I couldn’t figure out exactly which strap this is. How is the length compared to the Ocean Band? I’ve bought a few similar styles but they have been longer the OE band. Thx

This is Nomad Rocky Band! The length is the same but IMO this Rocky band by Nomad looks much more better than Apple Ocean band! Also the hardware of Nomad band is much much stylish and looks better!

Congratulations on your new Apple Watch Ultra 2! The black titanium with the orange ocean band is a fantastic choice. We have many AWU users here who can help you get the most out of your watch. You can learn how to use watchOS, activate the action button, and use the siren 🚨. You can also pair it with different rugged bands and do many other things while hiking, running, fishing 🎣, or swimming 🏊. Let us know if you need any help!

Oh, and guess what? I got the ink modern buckle back on my Apple Watch Series 6 gold stainless steel! Haven’t worn it since I stored it away after the business trip.

What camera settings are you lot using?

I’ve had mine set to JPEG (most compatible.) But 24mp was too big to upload here. Had to change to 12mp.

Just changed to high efficiency (HEIF/HEVC) and kept my mp at 24, and could upload here.

So, what settings do you use?

I believe you mentioned for a pic the blue striped sport band without the case before you were out for almost a week, wasn’t it? It’s also a great spring or summer staple.

Here it is. Have you ever done macro photography on an iPhone before? I placed this watch very close to the camera! View attachment 2485561
Looks nice.

Quite noisy, though.

Try to take the shot in more light, next time.

I was demonstrating the macro photography capabilities of my 15 Pro. I apologize for the pixelated and shadowy appearance of the image. Here’s a different shot of it:

Post in the thread titled ‘Show off your Apple Watch’:

My white desk does cast a lot of shadows when the sun shines through the window. The next one I’ll show you is the ocean band replica! I’ll be uploading it later, so stay tuned!

Here is my Gold Titanium Series 10 with the Slate Blue BSL.

It’s nice to wear the original Apple Watch again after a while of wearing the Apple Watch Ultra. Is the Series 10 less bulky compared to the AWU?

Nice colour.
That’s a pastel blush ocean band. I wish they had more ocean band colors. It’s not bad on the regular Apple Watch models. I’m also trying to find a trail loop replica for the 41mm model. Did you receive the black woven nylon band yet? I heard you had ordered some before you went on a hiatus.

The Series 10 (9.7mm) definitely feels and is less bulky than the Ultra (14.4mm). I usually wear the Series 10 during most days at home or work and have reserved the Ultra for sleep tracking and any use that might scratch up the Series 10.

Oh, I didn’t realize it was on your Apple Watch until I examined the complications closely! I noticed that some iPhone users frequently use bold or enlarged text, and I thought it might be overwhelming to see the entire UI. The entities would take up too much space on the screen if I used these settings. I do enlarge text but only a few times. Not too much that it’s obvious. I prefer the Zoom feature on iOS; I’m not sure if watchOS has it since it’s a smaller platform.
I use the zoomed view on my iPhone and iPad.

I zoom in a bit, on my MacBooks, not my iMac.
Understandable. Have you tried double-tapping on your Series 10 Apple Watch? It’s a handy feature that allows you to play or pause music, scroll through Smart Stack, and access many common watchOS features using only your thumb and index finger. If you have an Apple Watch Series 8 or earlier model, you can also use Quick Actions on AssistiveTouch as an alternative.

Here’s another sunlit shot of my Apple Watch! The case makes it a little bit like if a gold stainless steel Apple Watch Ultra would exist.

Really?! If the blood oxygen feature returns to watchOS in the United States, I’ll upgrade to a natty or gold S10. But not yet, my gold SS Series 6 is still in good condition only 7 months old, and I don’t upgrade until it breaks down again like my Apple Watch Series 1. That way, I can try out the real double-tap feature. 🔥

If you have the larger watch, which Apple Watch Ultra band would you prefer? I’m leaning towards ocean bands or trail loops.

The ocean bands look good.
