It's an Ultra 2. My S5 wasn't cutting it anymore…was starting to have to charge it twice a day. I probably will replace the battery in the S5, but I used it as an excuse to buy an Ultra, any Ultra. It wasn't a hard decision to make… 🙃

That’s moderately a medium to large size wrist. I seen even small wristed Apple Watch wearers get the 46, 45 or 49 mm for the larger screen. I understand the Ultra may not be the right choice for small wrists but for that size wrist you have it should be fine for the Apple Watch Ultra. What size do you wear in solo loops, and how many links do you use on the Grand H strap?
That’s fine. The Apple Watch Series 5 isn’t compatible with watchOS 11 and newer anymore so it’s good to upgrade to the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Ever tried on a leather link?
I just went on a buying spree last few weeks, now have 41 of the 49 on the BB app plus the Chinese new year band, 8 more to go till I have them all.
I never tried the leather link, not a fan of the bulging links and also a concern about it coming undone
on my wrist, for leather bands I like the leather loops and classic buckles, especially 4th gen.
Yea leather loops are better IMO than leather links but 41/new 42 and 40mm cannot fit these straps. Leather loops go around instead of putting them on top of each other instead of securing around a loop on a smaller end.
Leather Loops also are more flatter than leather links which was its successor. The Leather Loop's catch on the smaller end can prevent it from being inadvertently removed, yet both straps are infinitely adjustable. You can easily put them on with leather link being the easiest by only putting the pieces on top of each other like the Modern Buckle. Classic buckles are the best leather straps alongside the Leather loops that should have not been discontinued!
