I like a black brushed (matte) finish, and I’m currently not looking to spring for the titanium model. I am going to wait on the newer series 11, and hope my preferred color becomes available. If it doesn’t, I will go back to the Apple Store and try the current colors again - black and silver.
I have the iPhone 14 Pro (black), and if I didn’t use a case, I would be polishing it every time I touched it 😳 With the black aluminum watch, I feel I would scratch it too easily.

Yeah, 46mm NaTi. Wish I didn't have 100+ bands because I would have chosen the smaller one.
Matted black titanium you would have to get the ultra 2. Would you go for it instead of slate series 10?
Same here, but for a small-wristed person like me I would start over my band collection if I got the AWU. Then miss out on the modern buckle, my favorite
leather band.
Black Ultra 2 on the Ice Blue ocean band.
Green with leather link. Still at 97% battery life. Found no reason to upgrade this one to Series 10.

What series watches and colors do you have? It looks like you have shiny black model along with the gold one. Is that correct?

And no, not jet black, not even SBSS. I did have a dark Apple Watch before.
The 38mm aluminum Apple Watch Series 1 was a space grey one. I had it since middle school, eight years ago. After seven years of use, the screen started separating slowly and got worse over time. When the separation started getting worse last year, I was embarrassed to keep it in a case any longer (to prevent it from fully falling apart). So, I upgraded to the gold stainless steel Apple Watch Series 6.
The Series 1 was kept unused in my Apple Watch band box next to my desk for a year until I saw in the news that Apple Stores were offering discounts on Apple-branded Apple Watch bands, accessories like cases, even standard AirPods 4, and Apple Pencil. However, you have to trade in or recycle an old Apple product that is to the point where it’s rendered useless or all beaten up, or even game consoles, printers, or vintage CRTs that seem like they need to be let go of. is still doing this special offer until the end of next week for Earth Day.
I kept it very long despite it being scratched easily. On my birthday this year, I had to let it go and laid it to rest. In exchange I got the Unity rhythm sport loop for a sweet discount from this promotion. I do miss my old Apple Watch, but I will never forget how much I loved it when I first started closing my rings!
I have seen so many pictures of your watch and bands, but for some reason I don't see it as gold! Hmmm... I'm going to say that it's the shine of the metal that makes it look that way lol. In all honesty, I have a hard time identifying the colors of the watches posted here. The bands I. have no problem with though. What can I say

Anyone else hope they get rid of the orange button and Digital Crown insert for the Ultra 3? I have both the Series 10 and Black Ultra 2 with vinyl stickers on the buttons to make them match the casing. I love the look and feel of the Ultra over the series watches but the orange makes it look tacky and ruins the look of any color bands besides black or orange.
