I don't have that problem.Well, after 1 day of wearing it, I can just throw it away. Connection between links is very poor and it already disconnected 2 times and I can simulate it every time I can. I made video.
So this band is no go for me.
I can say, that build quality is not that good like Nomad (except for AW connectors). I don't think it's DLC coating, because mine came scuffed. Also pins in FKM are very short - I already fixed my problem, there was some metal in one hole, so pin can't stay inside securely. After I push it out, it seems to holding well.
But I have problem with putting this band on. It's very hard to me and material scratching my skin.
This band may looks good for the eye, but otherwise is quiet unpractical.
Apple Titanium Loop is much more comfortable, adjustable and very easy to put on and off.
Plum gen2 for certification exam day.

No, best for sports is titanium loop 😄
I use titanium loop for everything else 😬 I don’t know exactly why but for running and similar, I found it a little bit worse than Ocean Band 🤷🏻♂️
depends on your weather climate and outdoor sport activities . when temperatures approach the zero or 32f mark my original titanium strap is not comfortable at all , cold metal on wrist is very uncomfortable , i found the original ocean band is probably the best all weather strap all year round . alpine straps disastrous in wet weather and prone to dirt or sweat marks.
