Brutal. I have the Apple Silicone case so I don't think it would be a good idea for me to stick there due to its price and resell ability. Apple really missed the boat on this one.

I'm just using an old school pen clip. Well two, I use a plastic one for when I'm clipping the Pencil to the Smart Keyboard so it doesn't scratch anything. And I use a metal one for clipping it, well, anywhere you would normally clip a pen.

Works great, they just slide on and off the Pencil as required.

Most of the day my iPad will be on top of this built-in shelf (away from my toddler :D)

Here is my Ipad Pro 9.7 Rose Gold and Midnight Blue Smart Cover Pics and Unboxing video:

From your video/pictures, I cannot tell if/how much the smart cover hangs over the edge when closed... do you find it unacceptable as the other threads have discussed?

I like the way my iPad 3 cover fits and and trying to decide whether I should order one for my new 9.7 or not (don't have an apple store where I live and Best Buy does not have the covers available yet so have not seen one in person yet).

Really nice color combo, man. I wanted to buy the 9,7 in gold, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Rose gold looks fantastic in combination with the blue smart cover. My problem: I want the smart keyboard which is black. :(

What kind of clear skin is that? I wonder if it will work with the Brydge Keyboard?

It is a plastic skin I had installed at the local mall. Cost $20 installed. Works well for my purpose. It should work with the brydge keyboard well but I would make sure it is on for at least 48 hours before putting it in the keyboard.

That's also my issue. I want a gold iPad Pro with a midnight blue Smart Keyboard and case. I'll accidently walk out the house with one blue and one black sock and not care. But my kit needs to be tight.

I think that smart cover hangs over problem solved with Silicone Case.

If you want the smart keyboard and fantastic combination you must buy space gray or silver ipad pro.

The Rose Gold looks nice but I don't think I could handle that much color. Congrats on your new iPad's guys! :)

I have the same dilemma. I have a rose gold iPad Pro and was planning on getting the midnight blue smart cover but after using the smart keyboard have bought one of those. I wish the smart keyboard was available in midnight blue. I may still get the smart cover for those times when I don't need to have a keyboard handy or don't want to risk getting the keyboard dirty. I often use my iPad to watch streaming TV shows whilst having dinner and don't want to risk the keyboard getting dirty with food particles. It doesn't look like it's easy to clean and I rather risk the cheaper smart cover getting dirty then the smart keyboard.
