my option for screen shots has never worked. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the Keyboard & Mouse settings in System Preferences? Under the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, it should tell you what your settings are and it will even let you change them. :)

DUDE! You have GOT to be kidding me! How did you wind up with sooo many songs?! Are you a radio DJ or something who needs access to all of these?! I mean, half a terabyte of songs? Our school server only has 1.5TB of storage space for over 1500 students!

That really is quite impressive. Is it all organised, i.e. everything in its place (album artist and what not)?

Even at random you'd only have a fraction of your music on one iPod!

Just sorted by GROUP in iTunes... too much work to sort much further.

I only have a 4GB iPod mini, so I cant get nearly enough songs on it. LOL

used to DJ for weddings and stuff, nothing major....

I add about 30 - 40 songs a week..

Everything from country to rap to rock....
I dont even listen to most of the stuff, just started as a sort of hobby that has turned into a sickness...LOL

my goal is 1 million songs.... maybe by the time i'm 80 I can reach my goal...

5548 songs in my library
18.1 days of music
36.76GB used

Although I need to re-encode a lot of that at 192kbps, from 256kbps, to save hard drive accesses on my iPod and increase the battery time a little, (not because it runs down quick, but the more juice i use, the quicker I get through a charge cycle and the quicker it will fail on me eventually).

That library also does not include half of my cd collection and that collection does not include all my live recordings and is no wherew near as big as it should be, (there's a lot of stuff out there I want to buy still).

LOL. :D

I don't know why I took the time to make that, I found it funny for some reason.

Here's my actual library. All AAC at 160 kbs:

What the better format to use? MP3 or AAC? Do AAC files play on a normal MP3 player? My Jeep has a MP3 (CD) player, will AAC files play on it?

That was funny. I get some funny looks from others when I say I have 18 days on my iPod, but can anyone come close to imagining 4.8 years?

The new 1TB iPod, 200,000 songs in your backpack. :D

Yes I listen to all of it. About 3,000 has never been played, and that's because it's all new within the past few months. All of the songs have ratings, the correct ID3 Tags, album art and no duplicates. I would also like to add that I am extremely picky with my taste in music, so I do delete music fairly regularly. (I have deleted about 10,000 songs this past year)

Mine...

Used to have a 40 gig library and now I just keep about 4 or 5 gigs on my machine to keep it from taking over my tiny 40 gig iBook HD. Have my old one on an external, but this has been fine for now.

I'm almost certain n AAC CD won't play in an mp3 cd player.

I prefer AAC because to me it sounds less compressed at the same kbs encoding than mp3.
