You guys are all lucky you have 1) offices, and 2) macs. I live in a Windows 2000/95 run school building.

As a watchmaker my *office* is a little bit different from everyone else's.

Here's a pic of my *home office*, which is the same as my one at work, only neater ;)

Nice......well that is kind of different from most people here......what kind of watches do you make

I like all the picts of people's offices. I'll have a new office in a couple days after I'm through moving (finally leaving Los Angeles again, and hopefully for good). I like the natural disaster picts too... someone should start a thread dedicated to that. :)

Actally, I don't make watches at all, I just repair them. Watchmaker is just a generic term for those of us that repair them.

There are a few people who do make almost every part by hand - true watchmakers - but they are very few and far between. Probably less than 20 worldwide with the skills, knowledge, capability and marketing/business acumen to make a go of it.

Here are a few who qualify....

A very neat, everything in its place type of office. I'm in awe of your profession, such intricate and detailed work. Nice that you let us see into your world.

Oh OK....well thanks for the links ;)

I work as a CSR, so my cube is my home 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I've barely decorated it, but it gets the job done.

Excuse the awfully blurry camera-phone pics, it's the best I could do for now..
