Sick of the ad...

Anyone else sick of the ad? I'm in Canada and Global continues to play it in each commercial break. I've watched 3 hours of tv today and I've seen it 18 times. I don't think I can stand it anymore.
 
Then don't watch so much TV?

I don't know what else to tell you. I myself watched hours of TV today lounging around, and got a damn Kia commercial stuck in my head. I don't like Kia cars so it's useless for the jingle to stick. I eventually just changed the channel, even if only to get away from that one commercial.

You are not alone! I hate this ad as well. I think I'm probably in the minority, but I've hated almost all of Apple's recent music ads (the Feith song especially!).
 
Yeah, I wonder who feist is doing at apple to get her crappy music so much exposure. 2 songs on 2 different ads.
Wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't such utter crap...
I feel dead inside.....:D
 
then I guess I'm dead inside because that song (1,2,3,4 tell me that you love me more blah,blah,blah,blah) sucks..

I love it...still. Every time it comes on I watch it and smile. The funny thing is that it just came on a few minutes ago and I looked up, watched it smiling and humming along. My wife just looked at me and laughed.
 
I have to say, I love the commercials. The iPod nano one drove me insane until I bought the song, the MBA one is a good song in my opinion, but I can see how it is possible for them to get annoying... it's happened to me before.
 
hah, I tottaly agree with the thread starter, i too have seen the ad way to many times here in canada. I have to say though, the more i see it, the more i think that air would be a great laptop to have. I would love to come in into the office everyday carrying my laptop in the same batch as my mail, that would look kinda cool, yet cheasy, but i would still do it a fwe times at least.

oh I know that. I was replying to the guy who said Feist sucked.

I am not particularly fond of the MBA song myself, it's good, but the whole thing gets a little annoying after a while. the excerpt they used for the actual ad though, is flawless.

Yeah, the song is not that great as a whole but the part they used is so fitting. I can't imagine buying that song, it's really commercially.

btw, feist rules!

Only once you buy one will the ads stop!
 
it only comes on when there is an event on that Apple is sponsoring. like the Formula 1 series. it comes on every ad break. although i love the publicity Apple is getting, the ad is bloody annoying!
