TV and play it every once in a while. My kids love it too.
They have ran the MBA ad a tad to much, especially around American Idol, for example. They need to diversify there ads and show some of the other ones (like the Mac vs PC ones), than just the MBA ad and the iPod touch one.
I was watching Smallville last night and they aired the MBA commercial 5 times. Don't get me wrong, I love the commercial and under normal circumstances I stare at the TV showing it with a huge smile on my face but 5 times in 1 hour? That's a tad too much.
I think it's time to show the software off. We've seen how cool and sleek the hardware is... Now let's show what you can do with it.
I was at the Apple Store the other day for an iMovie tutorial and a lady joined us who had just bought an iMac and had no clue what it could do.
She said, "I'm completely computer illiterate. My husband and I want to use it for photos and video of our vacations and grandkids. We heard this was the easist computer for that. What do I need to know?"
The Apple guy looked at me and we both shrugged and said, "Well, you've got to start somewhere."
By the end she was making her own iMovie with custom Ken Burns moves.
How about how easy it is to import photos from your digital camera and then make an album or DVD from them.
Remember an old Apple commercial where the couple sent Mom & Dad a DVD of their Wedding in Hawaii to let them know they had gotten married.
Turn the tutorials into commercials. Slick, the Apple way of course.

Why didn't anyone at Apple think of that? How eye-catching would that be?

I work with one at work time to time, and i am starting to come around to it, i no longer do any video editing or music and just got a little havier into 2d desgin and photo graphics and i constantly thing taht air would be a perfect laptop for me, sadly just about 3 months ago i got macbook, before enyone even was sure of air, i see comersials everywhere, see it everyday, i just might steal one, hah that would be great, put it into one of the document envelopes, no one would know hahaha take it out with my mail

The song itself is cute enuf, and she seems like a creative songwriter/musician; the video actually, and not surprisingly, brings out more from the song than a spinning laptop.
BUT does this song match the MBA? Always thot the MBA was being pushed as a tool for relentless road warriors, getting reports off to clients/HQ while downing a beer in an airport bar, etc. And this song about a sweet, naive 'soul'?
I'm thinking more, "G-g-g-get your motor runnin'!"

I was watching the davidson game last night, and it came on once. Down here in NC, it's almost never on. It's a rare treat when I see it.

Well, it's a new entry (soul) in the ultraportable market that makes different compromises. The song choice is a bit tongue-in-cheek (hoping I could learn a bit 'bout give and take).
Ah yes! Now I get it.
Give lightness, sexiness, tactile pleasure...take (away) large HD, Firewire, optical drive, Ethernet port...
Actually,none of the takes is a big deal to me (would like a smaller footprint...)--I'm getting one of these suckers this summer!
